Our Price List
At David Clegg Independent Funeral Directors we aim to provide a clear, simple, transparent and open pricing policy while providing a funeral service that reflects what both the family and their loved one would wish for. We believe our pricing to be competitive and reflect the care and attention our team will provide to you and your loved one during every step of the funeral arrangements and afterwards. We do not work on a commission basis and therefore will not add costs to items such as flowers, order of service or newspaper notice. We will guide you through all the arrangements, taking time to ensure the services that are required for the funeral are organised on your behalf.
Below are a few examples of the services we can provide and the cost involved but each funeral service can be organised and arrange to reflect yours and you loved ones individual wishes. If you would like something more individual please let us know and we will work with you to ensure everything is arranged with the upmost dignity and respect. An estimate of the funeral cost will be provided.

Traditional Funeral
Funeral Directors Fees: - £2295
Bringing the deceased into our care, funeral director and bearers as required, hearse and one limousine on the day of the funeral, professional advice on certification, registration, provision of chapel of rest facilities for viewing, embalming, funeral director’s fees in arranging and servicing the funeral.

Direct Cremation
Funeral Directors Fees: - £1500
Direct cremation removes the formality of a traditional funeral service. At the time of need, we arrange to bring the deceased into our care. The date and time of the funeral is arranged and carried out by us, with no mourners in attendance and no ceremony. The cremated remains can be made available to the family for collection or scattered at the crematorium. An oak veneer coffin is included. Your loved one will be taken to the crematorium in the hearse.
